FASHION SHOOT WITH PROPS & LIGHTING AT EMALEE’S BARN VENUE

A few photographers and I planned a fashion shoot and it was an awesome experience. We searched all over the Rexburg area that would be able to host a group of models and photographers for a price that wouldn’t dent a college student’s wallet too badly. We were in luck when we called up Emalee’s Barn Venue. Emalee was very accommodating and invited us to check out the barn beforehand. It was a perfect spot.

The venue is an old, restored barn on a homestead property. A couple of years ago, Emalee and her husband bought the property and fixed up the barn as a wedding venue. The barn is white on the outside, strengthened on the inside by beams, rods, and posts; and features new flooring and windows. The stable area acts as tables for hosts to lay out refreshments. It has a gorgeous chandelier in the center.

Not only the chandelier is lit, but much of the indoors, along beams and posts and within the “stable” areas.

We had some fun props and accessories there at the fashion photoshoot, including a Remo banjo.

One accessory that stuck out to me was this male model’s Nike brand beanie. He wore it with a fitted, black suit and somehow the contrast worked. He looked great!!! Kaden-Larson-Fashion-Photography-Photoshoot-Fashionshoot-Emalee's-Barn-Venue-Nike-Beanie-Couple
